New York Fashion Week Report: Top 5 Spring 2007 Trends

1. Neutral Colors: Once again, white is the color du jour. Muted shades and neutral colors dominated the runways from the majors to the indies.

2. Controlled Volume: Detailing such as ruffles, ruching, and pintucking added volume to silhouettes in a modest way.

3. Bubble Silhouette: Looks like bubble skirts are sticking around through next Spring. Wear with caution, as the bubble shape doesn't flatter large hips.

4. Trapeze Silhouette: A nod to Christian Dior's 1958 Trapeze Line, the silhouette was seen in tops, dresses, and outerwear.

$328 at Anthropologie

5. Shorts: From Daisy Dukes to knee-length styles, shorts are making another
comeback just in time for Spring.

Amarige Mariage by Parfums Givenchy is a charming Chypre Oriental Eau de Parfum with sparkling notes of Sicilian Bitter Orange and Calabrian Bergamot that represent the first peal of laughter. Then comes a ray of light, with Magnolia and Egyptian Jasmine, enveloped by the subtle, rare, and precious aura of Ceylon Cinnamon. A final, unforgettably sensual mood is provided by a touch of Siam Benzoin and a note of Sandalwood, united against a backdrop of Patchouli.

The Best Mascara Ever!

Using advanced technology from Japan, Kevyn has developed a a mascara that is light years ahead. With its invincible stay on quality, the mascara is also the easiest to remove. Both formulas refuse to flake, drip, smudge, or melt, and at the time of removal, wipe clean in pieces with either warm water or eye-makeup remover! Packaged in a slim red lacquer metal casing, the mascara is available in two formulas, Volume and Curling. This is Kevyn's first ever makeup product!

The Volume formula, is designed with a thin brush that allows detailed application from deep within the lash base, and applies a liberal coat of mascara to each lash. The formula, infused with volume-building fibers, thickens, separates, and lengthens dramatically without clumps. Lashes for days.

The Curling is designed with a conventional brush, and a protein-based formula that separates and defines each lash beautifully. As it dries, the mascara shrink-wraps on the lashes to draw them into a long, dramatic curl. When used with the lash curler, it plays the role of a “setting spray”, promoting even more curl as apposed to weighing the lashes down.

I like the Volume formula. Check it out at Kevyn's Website
